ALBUM: Marques Houston - Mr. Houston

New album by R&B singer Marques Houston. The album is good, it's nothing great, I mean, it has some good tracks but there are some pretty boring too.. My favorite album of his is the first one, "MH", back in 2003. I didn't really care about his next 2 albums "Naked" and "Veteran", except a couple of tracks. This one is average for me, but check it out for yourselves.

Naturi Naughton - Fame

Naturi Naughton is a former member of 3LW. This song is off the soundtrack for the "Fame" remake, set to release this month in US. I like this song, it's upbeat, fun and inspiring. It's funny to see how she was so underrated in 3LW but now she's doin' all kinds of stuff, she starred in "Notorious", played the Lil' Kim role and now "Fame". I hope she succeeds in everything cause I think she's really talented.

Uncle Sam is a R&B singer, who was signed to Boyz II Men's Stonecreek Records imprint. He only recorded one album back in 1997 and that's really a shame. He has a great voice and I love this song to death! Soooo emotional! Actually for some time I thought this was a Boyz II Men song. He's that good!

Matt Nathanson - Still

I found out about this guy after watching an episode of "One Tree Hill" (which I love). Thank God there is a site dedicated to music from One Tree Hil, it tells you every singer, song title, album title AND the year it was released from EVERY scene of EVERY episode. It's GREAT! I hate it when I hear a dope song somewhere and I don't know who's singing. I drives me WILD!

But on with the subject! I heard the song (not this one, but another great one) on One Tree Hill and the very helpful site (which is www.oth-music.com by the way) showed me it was this singer-songwriter guy named Matt Nathanson. So I downloaded the album, it's great. And "Still" is my favorite song, it grew on me after a couple listens. Just great!

I love it! Marina Chello is signed to Bad Boy Records and this song's off her upcoming debut album "What's Done Is Done". I was just reading her interview for EveryJoe.com and found out that she moved with her family at age 11 from Uzbekistan to New York.

I'm really excited about her album. If every song is as good as this one, the album should be great!
